The world left bootprints on her face,
Their tread did not reach her eyes
Leaving her love and life and laughter there,
Fall into them if you dare.
There is kindness so strong you'll be paralyzed
To peer and reap what she has sewn, and then,
The world's parade of bootprints
Will shallow tread upon your own.
