Winter hung around longer this year much to my distress but I think Spring is here now, at least it seemed so today hopefully behind us is the cold season's mess and forward thinking is a hot summer's day I thought March 21st was just way too soon for Spring to come in, with snow on the ground the weather was still singing a winter's tune while the grass and the trees were yet dead and brown Here it is almost May, many flowers still closed and frost in the morning is still expected so we cover them so the tender buds aren't exposed in northern climes we must keep them protected Perhaps today is the new beginning of Spring as the temperatures rise with the morning sun and the clouds of night start their thinning and give in to blue skies until the day is done © By susi Taylor (Texaswishr@aol.com)
